Win back the customers you already earned
Every past ticket is a future customer, if you reach out. Campaigns lets you slice your real customer base, "hasn’t been in for 90 days," "owns a MacBook," "spent over $500", and write the email once, with consent handled the way the law and your reputation demand. In beta.
Recorded from the real app: create a Bebop campaign, verify true reach to eight consented customers, build a complete personalized email and offer, then meet the honest beta send switch—nothing is falsely shown as delivered.
Segments from real shop data
No CSV exports, no third-party list tool. Segments filter the customers already in BenchKey by what actually predicts a visit: how long since their last service, what kind of device they own, how much they’ve spent, how many tickets they’ve had. The preview shows real matching customers, not a guess.
True reach, not vanity reach
Most email tools count everyone on your list. BenchKey counts who you can actually email: the preview runs every match through the consent gate, unsubscribed beats everything, and a customer who was never asked doesn’t silently count as a yes. The number you see is the number that would really receive it, before anything goes anywhere.
Consent-first by default
Marketing consent is recorded per customer as an explicit event log, separate from the transactional messages your tickets already send. Hard opt-outs are suppressed permanently, every marketing email carries an unsubscribe path, and if your draft forgets one, BenchKey adds the compliance footer itself. Your shop’s name stays off the spam lists it took years to stay off.
Where the beta is today
Drafting, segments, true-reach preview, and consent enforcement are live now, the app itself tells you sending isn’t switched on yet, and drafts you mark ready are queued for the day it is. That’s deliberate: the send pipeline ships when the consent and deliverability rails around it are proven, because one badly-sent blast costs more than a feature arriving a few weeks later.
FAQ
Campaigns & segments questions
Can I send a campaign today?
Not yet, and the app says so on the composer itself. Today you build segments, draft campaigns, and see true consented reach; drafts marked ready wait for the send switch, which ships once the deliverability rails are proven. We’d rather be straight about that than sell you a blast button that isn’t there.
Are SMS campaigns included?
No. Bulk marketing is email-only. SMS in BenchKey lives where it converts and where compliance is clean: ticket updates, estimate approvals, and lead follow-ups, messages tied to work the customer asked for.
Who counts as reachable?
Only customers with a recorded marketing opt-in who haven’t unsubscribed. Suppression wins over everything, and customers you never asked are excluded rather than assumed in. That’s why the preview number is smaller, and honest.
Will this get my shop flagged as spam?
The whole design leans against it: consent-gated recipients, permanent suppression on unsubscribe, and an automatically-added unsubscribe footer if your draft is missing one. Small honest lists outperform big scraped ones anyway.
