Campaigns & segments

Campaigns lets you email the customers you already earned, sliced by what actually predicts a visit, with consent enforced by the system instead of by memory.

The populated Bebop campaign with eight consented recipients, a 15% personal-code offer, live preview, and the honest sending-off message

Open Campaigns (sidebar, tagged Beta) and create a campaign. The audience is a filter over your real customer base:

  • Last service — e.g. “hasn’t been in for 90+ days”
  • Device type — e.g. owns a MacBook, has a console
  • Total paid — e.g. spent over $500 with you
  • Ticket count — e.g. two or more repairs

The preview resolves against your actual customers and shows true reach: every match is run through the consent gate, so the number you see is who would really receive the email, not a vanity list size.

  • A customer counts as reachable only with a recorded marketing opt-in and no unsubscribe on file.
  • Unsubscribed beats everything, permanently.
  • Never-asked is not treated as a yes.
  • If your draft forgets a visible unsubscribe link, BenchKey adds the compliance footer itself.

Write the subject and body once, with {{customer_name}} and {{shop_name}} for personalization. Drafts stay editable until you mark them ready.

Segments, drafting, true-reach preview, and consent enforcement are live. Sending isn’t switched on yet — the composer says so on the page — and drafts marked ready are queued for the day it is. SMS campaigns aren’t part of this feature; SMS lives in ticket updates and lead follow-ups, where consent and context are clean.
