Team settings with members and roles

The built-in time clock

Invite team members from settings; each gets their own login. Shared logins are how accountability dies, give everyone their own account.

  • Admins see everything: settings, money, reports, all tickets, integrations.
  • Techs see the work: the queue, their tickets, customer conversations, without settings, pricing controls, or reports.

Role-gating means a busy counter doesn’t depend on everyone being careful, the doors that should be locked are locked.

Staff clock in and out inside BenchKey, no separate app:

  • Shift history per employee, visible to admins
  • Open-shift correction, admins can close a shift someone forgot to end (everyone forgets eventually)
  • Who’s in right now, current status at a glance

On multi-location accounts, staff accounts are account-wide and roles control what they see. Locations share the customer base while keeping their own queues, see the multi-location feature page for the model.
