Billing, plans & your trial
Plain answers about money, because pricing pages always leave one question open.
The trial
Section titled “The trial”Every new account starts a 14-day free trial with no credit card. The trial is the real product, import your data, run real tickets, send real messages. There is no feature wall between you and a fair evaluation.
When the trial ends
Section titled “When the trial ends”Your account locks rather than disappears: you can still sign in, pick a plan, and export your data even while locked. Nothing is deleted because a date passed. Pick a plan and everything resumes exactly where it was.
Plans and switching
Section titled “Plans and switching”Plans are month to month, managed in Settings → Billing & Payments, where your subscription invoices and billing history also live. See pricing for what each plan includes, the comparison table mirrors the product’s real gating. Upgrades unlock features immediately; if a feature you tap is on a higher plan, the app tells you which one instead of hiding the button.
Team members per plan
Section titled “Team members per plan”Standard includes 2 team members, Pro includes 8, and Business is unlimited. The Members page in Settings shows how many seats you’re using; when a plan is full, adding another member prompts an upgrade instead of failing silently. Existing members are never removed by a plan change, caps only apply to adding new ones. Tickets are never capped on any plan.
Founders pricing
Section titled “Founders pricing”While the founders launch window is open, Pro is $59/mo (list $79) and Business is $99/mo (list $129), locked for as long as your subscription stays active. The pricing page shows whether the window is still open.
Multi-location billing
Section titled “Multi-location billing”Locations are the one thing that bill per unit: each additional location is its own seat on a multi-location plan. Billing counts active locations automatically.
Payments and processor fees
Section titled “Payments and processor fees”BenchKey never takes a cut of your customer payments. Card processing runs through your own Square account at Square’s rates, and texting runs through your own Quo or Twilio account at their rates. Our invoice to you is the subscription, nothing else.
Leaving
Section titled “Leaving”Cancel any time in billing settings; the plan runs out the month you paid for. Export your customers, tickets, and invoices yourself, and if you want the hosted copy deleted afterward, email support and we delete it.
