Plans, billing & your trial

BenchKey has three monthly plans. Public access is paused; join the waitlist for updates. The owner manages the plan in Settings; the few changes that aren’t self-serve yet are listed in Change your plan. Prices below are US prices; the pricing page has them for other countries, and founders pricing.

The plans

• Standard, $29 a month: one store, one person (the owner) and 75 new tickets a month; tickets you import never count. Tickets, estimates and invoices, checkout and the cash drawer, receipts, card payments (Stripe, Square) and Affirm, the customer status page, check-in and the signature kiosk, the appointment calendar where your team books customers in, inventory, imports and workspace export, the Overview report, automatic status emails, texting from your own phone, and Help chat.
• Pro, $79 a month: one store, up to 8 people and unlimited tickets. Adds the online booking page, on-site visits, texting through your shop’s provider, call records through Quo and incoming-call pop-ups through RingCentral, review requests, your own automations and follow-ups, the full customer portal, AI drafting, QuickBooks Online, detailed and scheduled reports, leads, memberships (beta) and campaigns (beta, switched off), MobileSentrix (coming), label printing (DYMO and BenchKey Printing), time clock, payroll export, commissions and bonuses, and staff shift scheduling.
• Business, $149 a month for the first store and $79 for each extra store: unlimited people, and every store gets everything in Business. Adds more than one store with the multi-store tools, mail-in (forms, shipping labels, carrier rates), business clients, the API, We move your data for you, faster help replies and more included AI.

Pro and Business have unlimited tickets. On Standard, the 75 new tickets start again each month. When you reach 75, existing tickets, payments and pickups keep working; new tickets wait for next month or a move to Pro, and nothing is lost. Card processors and texting providers charge you under their own terms; BenchKey adds no markup and never takes a cut of your payments.

Your free trial

When public access opens, the trial offers 14 days of Business with no credit card, subject to beta exclusions, workspace enablement and provider setup. Invited beta accounts receive a separate offer. See Your free trial.

Manage billing

Only the shop owner changes the plan or opens billing.

• Settings → Billing & Payments → Plan & Billing shows your current plan, a feature table, and a button to choose, upgrade or downgrade. Upgrades start right away and downgrades start at the end of the month you’ve paid for. Step by step: Change your plan.
• Settings → Billing & Payments → Payments, at the bottom: Manage subscription opens the billing portal to update your card, download invoices, or cancel.
• Billing details on Plan & Billing holds the business name, address and tax ID on your BenchKey invoices.

If a feature isn’t on your plan, the app says which plan includes it.

People on each plan

• Standard: 1 person, the owner. Invited beta shops, and shops already paying for Standard before it changed to one person, keep 2.
• Pro: up to 8 people.
• Business: unlimited people.

Kiosks and customer-facing screens don’t count as people. Settings → Team & Access → Members shows how many seats you use. A full plan stops new invitations; it never removes anyone. If you move to a plan with fewer people, you choose who keeps access, and the others come back when you move up. Nothing about their work is deleted.

Stores

Standard and Pro cover one store. More than one store needs Business: $149 a month for your first store and $79 for each extra store (founders: $99 and $59), and every store gets everything in Business. Warehouses (stock and transfers only, no register) are free and don’t count as stores. A new store is charged right away for the rest of the month. Invited beta accounts

Invited beta shops get Business free for the first year from account creation, then half of list price on their chosen plan for life. In eligible regions, founders pricing goes to the first 50 shops that subscribe after the beta. Everyone after pays list price. See the pricing page for current beta exclusions.

Cancel, export and leave

Cancel renewal from Manage subscription; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Export your data before you leave: after an account ends, the Terms give you 30 days to request a copy, and after that it may be deleted. See Cancel, export or delete your shop.
