Integrations

Integrations live in Settings → Integrations. Each is a guided connect flow, sign in, authorize, done.

Integration connections

Quo (formerly OpenPhone) gives the whole team business calls and texting on one shared number, and it is the deepest phone integration BenchKey has. It is also what we run at our own store.

  1. In Settings → Integrations, find the Quo card: choose the number your shop texts from in Quo, copy it in international format (like +17329789546), and paste your Quo key. Then set Quo as the text message provider at the top of the page.
  2. Two-way texts thread onto tickets and leads automatically.
  3. Incoming calls pop a card with the caller and their open tickets, and recordings, voicemails, and transcripts attach to the ticket.

Why we recommend it over a bare SMS line: you get calls, texts, voicemail, and transcripts in one integration, every one of them on the ticket, which is exactly the record you want when a customer says “nobody told me.”

Connect your Square account to take card payments at the counter, by link, and in the portal. Payments reconcile against Square, and anything that does not match gets flagged the same day.

Offer monthly payments on large invoices. The financing option appears in the payment flow for eligible amounts, it turns “I’ll think about it” into approvals on four-figure work.

Connect Twilio to send and receive texts on your own business number. The connect flow configures the webhook automatically, no copy-pasting URLs into the Twilio console.

One PrintNode connection drives your label and receipt printers (most USB/network thermal printers work). Labels fire automatically at check-in; failed jobs retry; anything reprints from its ticket.

These are in the works and will appear in Settings → Integrations when ready:

  • QuickBooks, customers, invoices, and payments synced to your books
  • RingCentral, incoming call cards with the caller’s customer record and open tickets
  • MobileSentrix / PhoneLCDParts, parts ordering from your suppliers
  1. Square, money first
  2. Quo (or Twilio), texting is half the product experience
  3. PrintNode, labels from day one keep the bench sorted
  4. Affirm, when big-ticket work needs financing
