Report a bug, suggest an idea

BenchKey is built by the same team that runs it in a working shop, so when something breaks or something’s missing, say so. The buttons are right in the app.

The Report bug button sits in the sidebar on every screen.

  1. Click Report bug.
  2. Describe what happened, with the steps to reproduce it.
  3. Attach a screenshot if it helps, it’s optional, and the reporter shows a privacy note about what is captured.
  4. Send it. Diagnostics are included automatically so the team can reproduce what you saw.

Reports go straight to the people who build BenchKey, the same team that runs it in a working shop.

  • Steps to reproduce, what you did, in order, so the team can follow you to the bug.
  • One issue per report. Two bugs means two reports, each one gets tracked and fixed on its own.

The Ideas section is a shared suggestion board for everything that isn’t broken, just missing.

  1. Post an idea.
  2. Comment on other people’s ideas.
  3. Admins triage the board.

Features genuinely get built from this board, it’s not a suggestion box that feeds a shredder.
