Price calculator

The price calculator opens from Calculator in the sidebar and from supported line-item flows. It keeps the shop’s cost math private while giving the customer one clear number.

Two repair parts, markup, labor, tax, margin, and the final estimate. Recorded from the real app with fictional demo data.

  1. Search by part name or SKU when a supported vendor is connected.
  2. Select a result to bring in its current cost, or enter the part name and cost manually.
  3. Choose Add another part for every additional component the repair needs.

The first matched part can suggest a labor category. Later parts do not silently replace that choice.

  • Choose percentage or fixed-dollar markup.
  • Pick a saved labor template or use a custom amount.
  • Read the live customer price, with-tax amount, and margin below the inputs.
  • If the quote falls below the configured margin floor, the calculator says so before anyone sends it.

Authorized admins can edit labor templates inside the calculator. A shared team note keeps shop-specific pricing guidance directly under the answer.

Enter a customer mobile number or email and choose Send estimate. The customer receives the final price only; part costs, labor costs, markup, and margin stay inside the shop.

When the calculator was opened from a supported line item, Use this price applies the result back to that work.
