Run the brand without flattening the stores

Corporate gets a brand-level console for performance, standards, royalties, warranties, and rollout. Franchisees keep their own workspace, and access boundaries stay visible instead of disappearing behind a master login.

app.benchkey.com RECORDED

Recorded from the real app: the brand dashboard moves from the network scoreboard into one store, then opens the governance and royalty surfaces corporate actually uses.

See the network, then drill into the store

The brand dashboard ranks stores or franchisees for today, week, month, or quarter. Filter franchise and company-owned cohorts, compare revenue with the prior period and same-store year over year, watch tickets and turnaround, then open a store for its daily trend, setup progress, and statement history. Exceptions surface stale metrics, past-due billing, revoked access, no sales, negative trends, and incomplete setup.

Publish standards with a receipt for every store

Author versioned ticket statuses, email and SMS templates, canned responses, and terms, or import a known-good configuration from a store. Publish to the network and BenchKey records an applied or failed result per store, with a one-click re-push for only the failures. Published statuses, templates, and canned responses become managed; terms stay advisory.

Royalty statements without the side spreadsheet

Set an effective-dated brand default, franchisee override, or store override. Rules can use net invoiced revenue, collected cash, or labor, with a percentage, minimum floor, ad-fund percentage, and flat fee. Generate statements by period, inspect every store line, finalize and notify, record payment, export CSV, and work the royalty A/R aging view.

Open stores and support customers across the brand

Provision a franchise or company-owned workspace with an owner invite, business vertical, store label, and optional region. Publish a hosted or embeddable store locator whose Book here buttons open each store’s booking page. When a device crosses town, warranty lookup finds the repair by IMEI or serial across the brand without showing customer fields in the result.

FAQ

Franchise operations questions

How is franchise different from multi-store?

Multi-store is one company workspace with several operating locations, shared customers, and one team. Franchise operations adds a separate brand console across independently operated franchisee workspaces, including governance, royalty statements, brand-level rollups, and access state.

Does corporate automatically see everything in a franchisee workspace?

No. The brand dashboard reads brand-level performance rollups, not the franchisee’s live tenant endpoints. The store directory shows whether corporate access is granted, off, or revoked; deeper workspace access is a separate, consented action.

Can corporate push one workflow to every store?

Yes. Corporate can version and publish statuses, templates, and canned responses, then see the result for each store and re-push only failures. Those published items are marked as brand-managed in the store; terms are deliberately advisory and stay editable.

Which royalty structures are supported?

Rules can be based on invoiced revenue net of refunds, cash collected, or labor. Add a percentage, a minimum floor, an ad-fund percentage, and a recurring flat fee, then override the brand default for one franchisee or one store.

Which plan includes franchise operations?

Franchise and depot deployments use volume contracts with custom onboarding and service terms. Talk to us with your store count and ownership model, and we will scope it plainly.
