BenchKey

Labels at intake, receipts at pickup

Every repair can produce a populated device label and drop-off receipt. Use the browser print path anywhere, or connect PrintNode to send them straight to your existing printers.

app.benchkey.com RECORDED

Recorded from the real app: open Jeffrey Lebowski’s ticket, choose Print Label, and get a populated device label with his phone, MacBook, ticket number, logo, and print date.

Works with the printers you have

BenchKey’s browser print path works without a printer integration. Connect PrintNode when you want a supported USB or network label, receipt, or document printer to receive jobs directly. There is no BenchKey-only hardware to buy.

Print on the moments that matter

With printing configured, check-in can send the device label automatically. Every populated ticket also keeps Print Label and Drop-off Receipt actions close at hand, so a damaged label or second copy takes one click.

Know when the printer needs attention

BenchKey surfaces PrintNode dispatch errors and offline-printer warnings instead of treating a button click as proof that paper came out. Recent failed jobs are visible from the connection settings; fix the printer, then reprint from the source ticket.

FAQ

Label & receipt printing questions

Which printers are supported?

Anything PrintNode supports, which covers most common thermal label printers (Zebra, Brother, DYMO and similar) and receipt printers.

Do labels really print automatically?

They can. Assign a label printer through PrintNode and check-in can send the label automatically. The same populated label remains available from the ticket for browser printing or reprinting.

What happens if the printer is offline?

PrintNode can queue work for an offline printer, and BenchKey surfaces the offline warning and recent failed jobs. Once the printer is ready, reprint the label or receipt from its ticket.
