Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

This policy describes how BenchKey (“we,” “us”) handles information for the benchkey.com website and the BenchKey application.

Information we collect

Account information: when you create an account we collect your name, email, business name, and contact details. Your shop’s data: the customers, tickets, invoices, and related records you create in BenchKey belong to you; we store and process them solely to provide the service. Usage data: we collect standard technical logs (browser type, pages visited, errors) to operate and improve the product.

How we use information

To provide and improve the service, to communicate with you about your account, and to send messages you configure (e.g., customer status notifications sent on your behalf). We do not sell personal information.

Your customers’ data

Data you store about your customers is processed on your instructions as part of providing the service. You are responsible for having an appropriate basis to store and message your customers; BenchKey provides tools (like opt-out handling) to help.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run BenchKey (hosting, payments, email/SMS delivery, e.g., Square, Twilio, email providers), under their own contractual obligations, and when required by law.

Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-restricted, and backups are maintained. We retain account data while your account is active; you can request export or deletion at any time.
